Brandon & Cotie are engaged!

This adorable couple was so much fun! They are getting married in June in HAWAII!!! FUN! I had the pleasure of doing thier engagement shots and will be working with them for a fun 'Trash the Dress' session as well as being at their reception coming up. I am so excited to work with them all summer...they were up for anything and had a blast the whole time!

"Modern Mothers"

Also, check the summer calendar of events...I am hosting a Modern Mothers photographic art exhibit in junction with Tranquil Moments Wellness Spa and Blessings by Design. The launch party will be Friday, August 21st and we will also have a matinee showing on the 22nd.

Formal invitations with special promos will be mailed to clients who's work is featured at the event as well as information in my e-newsletter to all clients in the coming months. We are focusing this exhibit around maternity and newborn work, especially black and white photos. I will have special promotions going on at the event, special items for sale, special rates for sessions booked during the event. We will have vendors, hollistic health practitioners, massage therapists, estheticians, jewlery, photos, wine and food! Be sure to email me for details or if you'd like to be an e-newsletter member.

I would like to extend a huge thank you to all the girls at Tranquil Moments Spa for opening up their facility and hosting this new event. I would also like to thank Jen Jaeger-Traynham for the Mid-Valley Mama exposure. This is sure to be a fantastic summer event!

Mila

Little Mila will always be very special to me. I was present for her birth, did her newborn photographs and was back today for her 3 month photos. I will be going back to finish because nap time was very important today. :) Enjoy this lovely little girl!

My Mother's Day

Of course, I have not one single photo of me and my girls on Mother's Day together. I have about 300 shots of my girls though. :) Isn't that they way it goes?

I wanted to share some of them since I think they are the cutest little things going and also it gave me some cute-ness to add with my announcement: NEW BLOG COMING ASAP! Its been in the works for months now and is finally coming along. I am working like crazy to get it done before the summer really kicks off and I think I am driving my IT guy insane! ;)

This photo was a blooper but it had my husband laughing so hard that I had to share it. Addisen is in the background shaking the grass off of her hands and my husband said "I have no idea where she gets that expression from!"...hmmm...me either. ;)

Maternity Models Needed

I am having a casting call for maternity models. The sessions will be to my taste with a goal of capturing the images I need to capture for a big project in the community. Of course, when time permits we will do all the shots that you want to capture as well and we can include family members, etc.

I need 3-5 pregnant women between now and mid July for maternity sessions. You must be between 32-37 weeks pregnant (if you are carrying twins between 24-28 weeks).

Check out my site to see my style of portraits and know that some elegant, yet tasteful, nudity might be involved as well as some outdoor 'nudity' (remote locations, obviously).

Relay for Life 2009 {Let's Raffle}

I am proud to announce that I will have a space at this year's Relay for Life in Yuba City. In addition, I am partnering with the Yuba County Office of Education to sell raffle tickets for a chance to win a free photo shoot and an 11x14 enlargement (over $200 value!!!).

Tiny Makayla

This tiny girl was born right on her due date and I got to see her at only 4 days old. When I saw her she was weighing in at only 6lbs 4oz and was as sweet as can be.

There will definitely be more coming from this cutie in Sacramento!
