Mini-sessions 2008!

Yesterday I held my mini-sessions for holiday portraits. I have not even really started to sort through all the images completely yet but I had to share a few that stuck out right away for me.

For those that came yesterday, thank you for your patience with me at my first ever mini-session event. I had a great time meeting those that are new to me and seeing some of my regular clients as well. Your galleries will be up within the week and you will receive your passwords to check out your photos and Christmas card samples.

A special thanks to this little guy's mom & dad for helping me at the end- they were my last session of the day. And, look how CUTE he is! They are one of my regular clients and friends...gotta love this one!

Rocklin's newest little girl!

This little one arrived 2.5 weeks ago and she is just adorable! After a brief stent in the NICU and a long labor for mom, the whole family is loving life at home. Let me introduce Paityn Hannah!!!

Zach & Cydney

I had the pleasure of photographing Zach & his sister Cydney today. Zach is a Senior at River Valley High and Cydney is an 8th grader! Here is a sneak peek for mom! More to come on these awesome kids soon!

New!

Michelle & Sean are expecting a little girl on Christmas Eve this year! Sean is a good friend of my husband's and I have been friends with him for 10 years as well. It was really special for me to get to see them laughing and enjoying this time of thier life so much! CONGRATULATIONS you two!!!

You get what you pay for...

Often, photographers get asked how they can charge rates that we charge when Sear's or JC Penney's has a $8.99 sitting fee and you can get pages of prints for $20. Well, the answer is...you get what you pay for! I mean that, of course, in the nicest way possible.
